Strictly’s Rylan reveals heartless thieves have targeted his bank account joking 'I'm poor'

RYLAN Clark has revealed how heartless thieves have targeted his bank account, before joking "I'm poor".

The wealthy TV star, who reportedly has a net worth of £4.5M, took to Twitter to share his annoyance at being hacked.

He tweeted: "Someone’s tried to get into my account ain’t they."

Theradio host also included a meme from the film Bridesmaids with "Help me I'm poor" written over the top of it.

Rylan. 33, has made his fortune after charming the public on X Factor.

His appearance on the ITV talent show shot him to fame and has also built his bank balance.

Rylan has since enjoyed an incredible career which includes his own Radio 2 show and a job hosting Strictly's spin-off show, It Take Two.

Despite his success in his job, Rylan's personal life has taken a hit this year, which resulted in the breakdown of his marriage.

The Sun exclusively revealed last month how Rylan was urged to take a year off work after breaking down during his BBC Radio 2 show.

The presenter started crying off-air during a song last month — prompting producers to call a crisis meeting.

His Saturday show colleagues loaded the next track so he could compose himself, sources said.

It came weeks after Rylan returned to work following an extended break to deal with the end of his marriage to Dan Neal, 42.

BBC bosses met Rylan’s management to discuss how best to handle the situation.

The insider said: “Rylan’s one of the BBC’s favourite stars.

"When he returned to work everyone supported him but when he broke down people were concerned he’d come back too fast.

“One of the BBC’s top brass was at the meeting. They even suggested he take a year’s break to focus on himself.

"Ultimately, they want Rylan to feel supported and happy.”

He did not take any more time off and Radio 2 said: “Following some time away from his show, we’re delighted Rylan is back on air.”

Rylan broke up with Dan, whom he married in 2015, in June.

At the time, he said: “We are currently prioritising our mental health. I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love.”
