Strictly Come Dancing's seasoned judge Craig Revel Horwood told off newcomer to the panel Anton Du Beke during Saturday night's live show.
While King of Ballroom Anton, 55, has been a part of the BBC competition ever since the first series – as has Australian pro Craig, 56, – until this year he's always been partnered up with celebrity contestants.
During Gorka Marquez and Katie McGlynne's Jive head judge, Shirley Ballas first pointed out that the duo had made a "couple of mistakes".
But when it came to Anton's turn to critique, he giggled that the pair were "quite lucky" because he hadn't noticed them and "must have been writing a note".
Not willing to let an opportunity to boss his colleague about, Craig sniped: "Yes there were a couple of mistakes Anton you need to start paying attention darling.
"Just a little note for Anton there."
The collective studio audience suddenly gasped at Craig's awkward swipe and Anton didn't appear too impressed.
Later on in the show Anton got his own back however as after Craig's dismal scoring on some of the couples Anton fired back: "Craig's just grumpy."
Having worked on the BBC's hit show for nearly two decades, the two seasoned professionals have always enjoyed making jibes at the other's expense, so it stands to reason they will enjoy doing it even more on the judging panel together.
Elsewhere in the ballroom, some couples blew the judges away with their incredible dance moves.
Tilly Ramsay even made her dad, famous TV chef Gordon Ramsay, cry with her stunning Charleston with new pro Nikita Kuzmin as they closed the show.
Dragon's Den star Sara Davies also managed to turn her first week's attempt around with some impeccable footwork as she danced a Foxtrot with partner Aljaz Skorjanec.
And comedian Robert Webb put everything onto the floor with his sensational Tango with partner Dianne Buswell, who was left "crying" with pride from his performance.
Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice also continued to wow the judges with their beautiful efforts as they completed an impressive Salsa with the first lifts of the series.
