Strictly Come Dancing is heading into week three of the competition this weekend as the 14 remaining couples take to the dance floor in hope of getting one step closer to lifting the Glitterball Trophy later this year. But it seems for Anton Du Beke and his celebrity contestant Emma Barton, they face the risk of being eliminated on Sunday night should history repeat itself.
Express.co.uk has taken a look back at all the results from the past 16 series of the popular dance competition and has concluded Anton and his partner have been at the bottom of the leaderboard the most amount of times during the third week of the show since the since its inauguration.
This weekend, Anton and Emma are due to perform the Salsa to Soul Bossa Nova by Quincy Jones from Austin Powers as a nod to the Movie Week theme.
Since the show kicked off back in May 2004 with Natasha Kaplinsky and Brendan Cole as the first victors, Anton has found himself struggling to gain high scores when week three came around.
During series four of Strictly, Anton and actress Jan Ravens found themselves joint bottom of the leaderboard with Casualty actress Georgina Bouzova and James Jordan.

Both couples were awarded 18 points for their retrospective performances and this was the first time Anton found himself at risk of leaving the show.
The second time came in the following series when Anton, who was partnered with Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway.
The pair found themselves the worst off when the judges gave them only 19 points for their Tango.
Following that, Anton staved off bottom place for week three for the four following series.
Finally, in 2011, Anton and his partner Nancy Dell’Olio managed to score a combined 20 points for their Tango.
Nevertheless, they were still the last couple on the leaderboard, hoping the public would pick up the phones and vote to save them.
Could history repeat itself and tomorrow night, BBC One viewers see Anton and EastEnders actress at the bottom of the leaderboard?
They could be following in James Cracknell’s footsteps who was the first celebrity to leave the competition last weekend.

Ahead of their routine, Anton and Emma spoke out about what viewers can expect.
During an appearance on It Takes Two at the beginning of the week with host Rylan Clark, Emma couldn’t contain her happiness about the theme.
“I need to calm down!” the actress said. “I just love it! I love a theme, and Movie Week especially.
“I can’t wait to find out what everyone else is doing as well, we’re really looking forward to doing ours.”
Rylan was keen to find out what viewers can expect from their performance: “Oh a lovely tight outfit,” Anton revealed. “And velvet, ruffle edge, a knee slide I suppose!”
It comes after Rylan made a cheeky jibe at the lack of success Anton has had on the show.
He is the only remaining original professional dancer and has never won a series.
