Selling Sunset ’s Mary Fitzgerald has ended her friendship with co-star Christine Quinn.

The pair have clashed in recent years, and things turned so nasty during filming for the new real estate series that they stopped being pals for good.

Mary, 40, today lifts the lid on how their relationship turned sour.

She told the Daily Star Sunday: “Christine and I are not in a good place. Things have happened that mean we aren’t on good terms.

“I wanted to fix it. But every time I tried to fix it, something would happen and that would break my heart. That was very emotional for me.

“It got to a point where I couldn’t go through it any more. I couldn’t keep going through the ups and downs and always feeling like I’d been betrayed.”

She added: “I had a mindset change. I was thinking, ‘I don’t want to do this, but this is where I’m at’.

“I am able to stand up for myself now and I chose to get out of a toxic situation. I’ve chosen not to have that friendship in my life.

“You can’t be friends with everybody. And although Christine and I have been close in the past, things have changed. It wasn’t healthy.” Mary is famed for her feisty persona on Selling Sunset, which is one of the most popular shows on Netflix.

But behind the scenes the rows with Christine, 33, left her with mental health issues.

She said: “Dealing with what has happened between Christine and I took a toll on me. I had a lot of anxiety about filming this series. I was very nervous about it.

“And having everyone around the world putting out their thoughts on you is stressful as well.

“My husband helped me deal with it in a healthy way, so I now have a therapist that comes over.

“I want to be on the right path and think in the right way. It is good to have preventative treatment.”

Fans will see the drama play out when the new series launches on November 24.

Mary said: “You’ll see it all unfold on the show. You’ll see the reasons for all of this happening.

“Christine doesn’t come into the office very often. But when she does we can still be professional and I’ll film with her. But there is tension.”
