1. Corey blackmails Asha

Corey manipulates Asha into giving him an alibi for the night of Nina and Seb’s attack next week as he desperately tries to cover his tracks.

Corey also orders Asha to make sure Amy doesn’t blab, but they’re interrupted by Dev.

Dev tells Asha he’s worried about her and that he doesn’t think it’s safe for her to be around Corey, a prime suspect in Nina’s attack.

2. Kelly is arrested

Kelly, meanwhile, takes the fall for Corey and Toyah is stunned as the police arrive at the builder’s yard flat and arrest her.

After Kelly is released, she begs Corey to come clean to the police, but Corey’s father Stefan tells her to get lost and to stop bothering them.

3. Kelly’s mum Laura returns

Toyah and Imran beg Kelly to tell the police everything she knows.

But just as Imran is managing to get through to Kelly, her mother Laura returns to the cobbles and tells her to keep her mouth shut.

When Imran does some digging, however, and tells Laura he knows she’s only turned up because her boyfriend has kicked her out, she agrees to let Kelly talk to the police again.

4. Nina tries to discharge herself

Nina struggles to come to terms with her injuries in hospital.

Later, Roy finds Nina packing a bag but, when she announces she’s discharging herself and heading back to the scene of the crime to try and jog her memory, Roy urges her to stay in hospital.

5. Abi is devastated

A police officer calls round at Abi’s to say they’ve charged someone.

When the officer adds that it would seem the attack was triggered by Nina’s appearance, Abi is stunned.

Will Abi seek revenge against Kelly and Corey?

6. Summer makes a shock confession

Summer battles a guilty conscience and eventually confesses to Todd about how she was there at the canal the night Seb and Nina were attacked.

Billy is horrified when Summer says that she went joyriding in a stolen car with Corey and his mates – and tells her she must come clean to the police.

Will she talk to the police and tell them what she knows about Corey?

7. Summer goes missing

Later in the week, Amy reveals that Summer has run away after someone in their class was horrible towards her.

Paul vows to find her and eventually comes across her in Victoria Garden.

Summer admits she feels partly to blame for the attack.

Will Corey and his gang find a way to keep Summer and Amy quiet about their involvement in the attack?

8. Sam puts Daniel to the test

When Daniel announces he’s training to become an English teacher, David tells him he’s welcome to tutor Nick Tilsley’s son Sam, who’s preparing for 11 plus.

Daniel is thrilled but realises he’s getting more than he bargained for when he turns up at their house only to find Sam waiting with a test to check he’s up to the job.

Will Daniel pass the test?

9. Ed leaves

Michael and Grace return home with baby Glory, who had been fighting for her life in hospital.

When Ed is overbearing, he realises he isn’t welcome and tells Grace, Michael and Ronnie that he’s going to go and stay with Aggie for a while.

As Ronnie bids farewell to Ed, he tries to make a few light jibes, but Ed is having none of it and makes clear he hasn’t forgiven him for the paternity bombshell he dropped a few weeks ago.
