Rise and Fall is expected to be the next tense reality show viewers are going to become obsessed with after the success of The Traitors. The Channel 4 series, hosted by Greg James, will see 16 contestants compete to win up to £100,000, in a game of Rulers and powerless Grafters. While the Rulers live in luxurious penthouses, the Grafters have to cope with basic conditions in a basement and it is up to those in power to make crucial decisions. Entrepreneur Ali, 45, owns a number of successful businesses and is known in Essex for his restaurants which have become celebrity hot spots.
Sydney, 24, from Scotland, is a delivery driver and single mum who is studying for a law degree.
Care home manager Connor, 27, started volunteering in the care sector when he was 16 and now works with the elderly and people with disabilities.
