Love Islands Tanyel says Kai and Olivia wont last: He never said he fancied her

Love Island's dumped islander Tanyel Revan has shared her concerns over Olivia Hawkins and Kai Fagan's relationship in the villa, as she wondered if it will last on the outside.

The Essex girl, 26, was sadly dumped from the island during Thursday night's instalment (February 9), in a shocking move that left many fans devastated.

But upon her exit from the villa, the former fan-favourite islander opened up on her true thoughts on the couples.

After initially being coupled up with Kai, and discovering they simply weren't on the same page, Tanyel was unsure about him and Olivia instead.

While the pair seemed to get really close quite quickly, Tanyel remained sceptical of their bond.

"In the beginning I was concerned," she admitted. "I thought, ‘He only liked Samie the day before.’

"He really fancied Samie so that took me by surprise when he then turned his attention to Olivia.

"He never mentioned that he fancied her [to me]."

The star then added: "I just don’t know if it will last."

Tanyel also explained that she hadn't expected to get on so well with Ron Hall, who is now recoupled with Lana Jenkins, but knew he was "loyal". As a result they became best friends in the villa.

The islander also revealed she gave Ron a big warning just before leaving the villa, telling him that if he "let her down," their friendship will be "done" on the outside.

Tanyel also addressed constant speculation that there was a romantic connection between her and Ron, as she insisted they were just friends and couldn't even "flirt" in bed.

But despite lingering thoughts on their connection, Tanyel revealed she believes Ron and Lana are a "good match" and hopes they win the show now.

Reflecting on her decision to sign up to the show altogether, the dumped star said she was still "so glad" she did it.

"I have no regrets. It’s made me realise how direct and honest I am. If I’ve got an issue, I’ll just say it straight," the former islander added.

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
