Whitney Adebayo delighted Love Island fans on Thursday night when she finally got some alone time with Zachariah Noble – and name dropped his ex.
Whitney, 25, took personal trainer Zach out of the villa for a romantic dinner date after her and Sammy Root received texts asking them to pick another islander to join them for a trip out.
Discussing her situation with now ex islander Mehdi Edno, who was dumped from the island earlier this week, Whitney said she was just "taking the lesson and tyring to move on."
After telling her he understood where she was coming from, Whitney called Zach out for how quickly he'd move on from dumped islander Molly Marsh, 21. "You came back like 'Kady let me chat to you'," she teased him, adding "you didn't even let the day rest.".
After giggling about the speed he moved on, Whitney shocked viewers by name-checking his ex, saying: "Shout out Molly!".
Whitney also threw shade on Zach's date the night before, saying she "didn't hear much laughter" and asking "why was it so silent?".
Following their steamy kiss and a secret meeting in the villa's den on Wednesday, fans weren't surprised when Whitney picked the 25-year-old Londoner as her plus one.
Fans took to Twitter to support the budding romance, with one writing: "Whitney got Zach laughing and smiling like a fool. He know where home is."
Another added: "Why do Whitney and Zach have so much chemistry? She really brings the best out of anybody"
But her bold move didn't go down well with everybody though. Despite saying before the date she hoped "they have fun" and that she was "so fine", Zach's official partner Kady McDermott was left in tears by the pair's outing.
After revealing to Catherine that her and Zach were kissing and cuddling "every night in bed", she admitted her biggest fear was "not knowing" that something was going on.
But viewers weren't convinced by the 27-year-old's water works, with one saying, "Why's Kady shedding those fake tears" and another calling them "crocodile tears".
Whitney's shade-throwing moves might come back to bite her if rumours about Molly returning to Casa Amor are true.
When Molly appeared on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast after her dramatic dumping she said Zach's behaviour since her departure gave her the "ick".
Her ejection from the Love Island villa came after bombshell entry and former island Kady McDermott made a shock return and chose to couple-up with Molly's love interest.
The musical theatre performer told hosts Sam Thompson and Indyiah Polack her eyes had been opened after watching the villa's antics from the outside.
"I thought there was something special there" she said, "and maybe there still is, but to see him lean in for a kiss with someone two nights after I've been gone, it has given me the ick."
