Love Island has announced a "huge twist" for Islanders this year just hours before the new series kicks off.

The hit ITV2 dating show is back with its tenth series at 9pm on Monday (June 5) with host Maya Jama back at the helm and a brand new cast of sexy singletons hoping to find love in the sun.

But if the cast thought this year was going to be like any other, they were wrong, because ITV have revealed that both boys and girls will be entering the villa at the start of the first episode.

Normally, either the boys or girls set foot in the villa and get to introduce themselves to each-other over a glass of bubbly before they meet their boy or girl counterparts.

But this year it's going to get fun and flirty right from the off as the boys and girls will have the chance to crack on with each-other immediately.
