LOOSE Women star Nadia Sawalha posted cute snap of her costars after former panellist Saira Khan went on a blocking spree.
Just one day after Saira unfollowed a number of her former costars, including Nadia, the popular TV presenter shared a snap of her getting cosy with costars Stacey Solomon, Judi Love and Kaye Adams.
Saira, 50, quit the daytime panel show, then blocked Nadia and Kaye after admitting that she only "tolerated" some of her co-stars while working on Loose Women.
Meanwhile, Saira has remained a follower of other Loose Women stars – including Stacey Solomon, Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, and Denise Welch.
But Nadia had the last laugh sharing a cosy pic alongside the three women, and promised the photo was taken pre-coronavirus pandemic and they were not breaking social distancing guidelines.
Nadia captioned the photo: "THIS IS AN OLD PHOTO BEFORE ANYONE GOES NUTS !!"
"Oh my goodness ! We had so much fun on Friday’s @loosewomen !
Let’s face it we ALWAYS do !
"As always me @[email protected] and @1judilove had so many lovely messages! Now, don’t get me wrong we love getting the luuuurve !!"
Nadia added: "BUT, maybe we get more than our fair share( steady Nadia !) Its the nature of this business we call show ,that it’s always the people in front of the camera that get the ? ????? when in reality it takes a great team behind the scenes as well to make a good show !
"And that’s been the way on @loosewomen for the last twenty years !!"
Nadia went on to praise the crew of Loose Women in a "well overdue huge thank you".
"You work your arses off , you care , you have integrity and you know how to produce brilliant shows with all our passions and strong opinions at the forefront of your minds," she gushed.
She added: "You put the a**e into class and you don’t get enough thanks !!!"
"So to all the studio , security and production teams sorry I don’t have all your tags – an ENORMOUS THANK YOU !!! #unsungheroes"
"Who are the unsung heroes where you work ???"
Her post got hundreds of comments with Kaye replying, "hear, hear".
Stacey added: "100% we are so lucky to have such an amazing team. And to even get the chance to go into work because of all of the effort and safety put in to place by so many behind the scenes. Thank you all always. Love you xxzxxxx."
Many fans gushed over the heartwarming pic and labelled the ladies "an inspiration".
One Instagram user wrote: "So nice to see the team appreciated. Thanks Nads. I couldn’t agree more xxx"
While another added: "I literally love you lot!! You are such an inspiration xx"
And a third said: "Love These 4, funny witty and fabulous."
Saira announced her departure from the ITV programme after five years earlier this month, and previously called on her co-stars to do the same.
In an interview, she refused to name names as she said some of the women's "time was up", having also since called for a more "diverse" line-up on the show.
Saira's decision to leave came just weeks after one of the show's main anchors – Andrea McLean – also bid farewell.
However, Saira also revealed she wouldn't be following in Andrea's footsteps by having a tearful goodbye on TV.
The businesswoman joined the panel in 2015, after shooting to fame on The Apprentice.
Writing in her column for The Mirror, Saira explained that she wanted to "assess her priorities" in the new year – triggering her decision to leave.
