Kim Kardashian West terrified Kourtney would ‘find her dead’ after Paris robbery

Kim Kardashian West was left in tears as she spoke about the moment she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, saying she was terrified that Kourtney would find her dead body.

The trainee lawyer was overcome with emotion as she spoke candidly to David Letterman for his Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman.

Kim, 39, revealed that the famous robbery in Paris had left her feeling paranoid after fearing she would be raped before her sister found her body in her hotel room.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians legend admitted that she "packed all my jewellery" for her trip to Paris Fashion Week, adding that it was not something she had done before.

Prior to the incident, Kim's older sister Kourtney Kardashian had left the hotel with the only member of security that they had with them.

The mum-of-four said that she heard "stomping up the stairs" around 3am, which instantly panicked her as she believed "someone was there to get me".

Kim went on to say that a group of intruders later stormed into her room as she desperately tried to call the emergency services.

The armed group then demanded that she gave them a ring that her husband Kanye West had given to her days before.

Businesswoman Kim then broke down as she spoke about the moment a robber "grabbed" her as she was wearing a dressing gown, with nothing underneath – leading her to believe she would be assaulted.

"I was like, 'Ok, this is the time I'm gonna get raped. Like deal, this is gonna happen, just prepare yourself.'," she painfully recalled.

She added: "So, I did and then — I don't know why I'm crying, I've talked about this before — and then he tied me up with handcuffs and zip-ties and then duct tape and duct-taped my mouth and my eyes."

Kim admitted that while a gun was pointed at her, her first thought was that of Kourtney and her safety.

"I kept on thinking about Kourtney, I kept on thinking, like, she's gonna come home and I'm gonna be dead in the room and she's gonna be traumatised for the rest of her life," she said.

After returning to her Calabasas home after the incident, Kim employed a dedicated security team to patrol the grounds of her home after becoming "really paranoid".

It later emerged that the armed assailants had reportedly been following her for "two years leading up until this moment" and had already tried to attack her.
