It’s safe to guess that Juan Pablo Galavis and Clare Crawley’s moment to reconcile has passed. The exes, who dated on Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor, have had a contentious relationship ever since their breakup in the 18th season. Juan Pablo is staying on brand by subtly throwing shade Clare’s way after her dramatic exit from The Bachelorette.
We watched frontrunner Dale Moss pop the question to Clare (the much-awaited episode aired Nov. 5) after approximately five seconds of dating, making her the first Bachelorette to ditch her contestants and leave with a ring on her finger early. So, Bachelor Nation fans obvs have a lot of ~feelings~ about this shakeup and Juan Pablo might too.
After the episode aired, he “liked” a tweet that was critical towards Clare. “You know Juan,” one fan tweeted. “We all thought she dodged a bullet with you but I think you dodged a bullet with her.” Yiiiikes.
You know Juan..we all thought she dodged a bullet with you but I think you dodged a bullet with her 😂😩😂
Clare’s famous exit from his season was marked with the line, “I thought I knew what kind of man you were,” she said. “I lost respect for you. What you just made me go through? I would never want my children having a father like you.” Juan Pablo replied by telling the cameras, “I’m so glad I didn’t pick her!”
Is Clare and Dale’s engagement unprecedented? Yes. Is their relationship eyebrow-raising? Absolutely. Was Clare right to leave? New Bachelorette Tayshia Adams would probs say yes, but fans are conflicted. But, more importantly, no one needs a woman’s ex judging how she finds love after making nasty comments after dumping her on live TV!
Juan Pablo, your 15 seconds has passed, maybe it’s time to accept that.
