I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here viewers spotted that Vernon Kay accidentally swore live on the show after being warned not to use strong language.
The campmates were taking part in the first live trial of the series and hosts Ant and Dec had warned them all not to swear during the challenge.
The campmates were split into Lords and Ladies to face a series of challenges to determine which of the teams will win a royal banquet while the losers will have rice and beans and and be up for tomorrow’s trial.
It was announced that Vernon would be going up against Victoria Derbyshire in the challenge dubbed Critter Cages, in which they had to enter a cage and retrieve coins while being pelted by insects.
Giant mealworms and maggots were dumped on the pair first, but it was when the crickets and cockroaches were released from a bucket that Vernon screamed out the F-word in the heat of the moment.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their surprise, tweeting: ‘Ant and Dec say no swearing yet Vernon screams F word out loud’ and ‘Wait did Vernon just swear then?’
Others added: ‘Vernon screaming f**k on live TV. That’s it. That’s the tweet.’ and ‘vernon yelling f**k on live tv is rlly a mood for this year’.
Earlier in the show, Sir Mo Farah was left disappointed after he bagged nine stars during his trial.
Despite the Olympian doing very well in Fort Locks, his solo challenge, he was disappointed not to have managed to bring all 12 stars back for the camp.
