Former Dancing on Ice contestant Gemma Collins did not hold back on Wednesday, as she was asked about claims Jason Gardiner might not return to the show as a judge.
Jason and Gemma famously clashed on air during the last series, proving some seriously awkward viewing.
Gemma accused the judge of “bullying” her, and even called him out live on air over his criticism towards her and her performances.
Now, she’s had her say on the reports that he won’t be back for another stint, with The Sun reporting he’s facing the axe.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, she told hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway that the news “couldn’t be better”.
As Kate asked for her view on the reports, she said: “Hallelujah, let’s be fair, he only works twice a year in TV. I think he does Dancing on Ice and panto.
“Would we miss him this year? Hell no!”
Explaining her comments, Gemma blasted the star once again for his treatment of her while on the show earlier this year.
She said: “With me, people are probably watching this and thinking ‘she’s a bit strong’, but you can criticise someone, but you don’t have to get personal.
“Criticise me all day long, but don’t get personal especially with mental health and bullying and stuff now.”
Gemma then added: “Hallelujah, this is great news. My show starts tonight, Jason Gardiner’s not coming back, it couldn’t be better.”
It comes amid claims from The Sun, after a source told them: “Bosses have become concerned in light of the axing of The Jeremy Kyle Show, that contestants could have a cause for complaint.
"After the rows with Gemma last year, producers started to make quiet inquiries about potential replacements."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
