FURIOUS Strictly fans have slammed a show judge for “overmarking” and said she’s “only doing it to prove a point.”
Over the weekend, presenter and comedian Eddie Kadi, 40, landed a huge score of 10 from Shirley after his impressive Men In Black performance with pro partner Karen Hauer.
Shirley, 63, said: "When you do something well, it needs rewarding. This was slick, it had style, it was edgy, it was entertaining, you found your groove.
"Everything that you love in dance you were able to bring today as a partnership, I absolutely loved it."
But Shirley has since come under fire from fans for awarding the perfect score.

Someone wrote on social media: “Shirley’s marking felt cheap and disingenuous. Shirley is prone to moments like that unfortunately.”
Another viewer penned: “I don’t understand why you give out a 10 when it wasn’t perfect. This paddle should be used for when the dance is perfect in terms of technique and storytelling. Really no idea why she did that.”
And a third echoed: “I assumed Shirley took some heat online for the harsh judging last week and is trying to prove she doesn't have a problem with Eddie or Karen.”
A fourth person wrote: “The most ludicrous 10 i've ever seen on the show, HONESTLY. I like shirley, but she is predisposed to moments of being emotionally erratic.”

And a fifth said: “A lot of Shirley's scoring is actually due to her need to be liked. She wants to be liked by the audience in the studio and at home.”
Comedian Eddie and Karen were completely gobsmacked by the score on Saturday.
Eddie dedicated the dance to his family who migrated from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He said he had a "whole other level of respect for street dance" after his performance.
Those watching at home were left fuming by the decision and accused Shirley of having a favourite, while also calling for couple’s choice to be axed.
One person wrote: “Couples Choice smacks of fix more than anything else. Judges can just say anything on it!”
A second said: “@bbcstrictly needs to have a word with Shirley. Her inconsistency and blatant favouritism makes a mockery of the show.”
The Head Judge has also come under fire for handing out low scores to female celebs.
This series, Shirley gave the lowest points out of all four judges for Zara McDermott, Ellie Leach and Angela Rippon.
