Emmerdale star Paige Sandhu has suggested her onscreen sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) is in danger as Meena the serial killer rages on.
Meena is only getting more dangerous as time goes on, with the actress admitting that she’s going to ‘get worse’ than she already is and that Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) is also in trouble.
We dread to think.
Speaking on Loose Women, Paige said: ‘Because Meena’s caused such a crazy amount of stuff that’s happened, she’s starting to get this feeling of invincibility and that will potentially be her downfall.
She went on: ‘After what happened with David and Victoria, she’s very possessive now, even more than she was before, so Dawn is really in trouble.
‘But Manpreet is really pushing Meena with everything that we’ve just seen so Manpreet, I would also say, is in danger.’
Paige also opened up to Metro.co.uk about Meena’s villainous side.
‘Billy dumps Meena and she freaks out, as she would!,’ actress Paige explained. ‘To her, she believes that they’re still meant to be together and they’re soulmates.
‘So what she does is she says she is pregnant and in her eyes that means that she still has a way of taking ownership of him and making sure that he can’t cut her out of her life, and there’s still a way of weaseling herself back in.
‘Billy is shocked and not happy about it, because I think he’s starting to see signs of her possessiveness and controlling behaviour. Their relationship went very fast, from 0 to 100 in a day, and I think it’s all been too much for him.
‘Especially considering him and Dawn are looking like they may finally get back together after so long, it’s a massive spanner in the works and just not ideal at all.’
Billy isn’t the only one with his suspicions about Meena, as Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) starts to question if her sister really is pregnant with Billy’s child.
Launching an investigation of her own, Manpreet digs for more information about Meena’s past, which leaves her with some serious questions about the death of her pal Nadine.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
