Emmerdale fans work out Andrea Tates revenge on Meena Jutla after her murder

Emmerdale fans have predicted that Andrea Tate will get "revenge" on Meena Jutla after she was murdered during the ITV soap's super stunt week last month.

During the explosive scenes, Meena attacked and left Andrea for dead in the burning maize maze after she witnessed her trying to drown Victoria Sugden.

It was revealed in later episodes that police had found a body, which was identified by Kim Tate as Andrea, with detectives since launching a murder investigation.

However, some soap watchers have predicted that Andrea isn't actually dead, as viewers never actually saw her body, and that she is secretly working with the police to catch Meena.

It comes after Andrea's ex Jamie Tate, who is also father to their daughter Millie, was confirmed as alive on Thursday's episode as he made an explosive return after the village had feared he was dead following a car crash earlier this year.

Taking to social media, one fan put: "I think Andrea is still alive and helping police catch Meena. Last time we saw Andrea she was alive."

With other viewers responding to the theory as one fan pointed out "normally when someone dies we see them die" with Andrea's final scenes showing her "alive, only just".

A different soap watcher speculated: "Told you and Andrea I think in police protection to catch that Meena #Emmerdale."

While another fan added: "Andrea is really alive they planned this to catch Meena out as Kim in on the plan that's why she identified her body."

With a different viewer predicting: "Hope Andrea is not dead either and puts Meena in prison it would be priceless to see."

It comes after fans were treated to a real shocker on Thursday's episode (4 November) when it was confirmed that Jamie is indeed still alive as he made an explosive return.

The scenes – in which little Millie Tate (Willow Bell) and Jamie were reunited – were both sinister and sweet. The father-daughter duo were bought together by newcomer Granny Hazel ( Kate Anthony ), who fans recognise from Coronation Street, after she and Jamie had been cooking up the plan behind Kim's ( Claire King ) back all along.

There had been speculation around whether or not the vet was still alive after he crashed his car into a lake in soap-tastic style earlier this year. Fans also had their suspicions that Jamie never actually died in the accident, with their theory confirmed on Thursday.

Emmerdale continues on weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
