Emmerdale fans left perplexed as Nate faints amid Tracy’s gory prank

Emmerdale's Nate sent fans into meltdown on Thursday as he fainted after Tracy pranked him.

The squeamish character has been attempted to get over his fear of blood and gore as he's about to become a father for the first time.

Tracy asked her beau if he was using his fear as an excuse so he didn't have to be at the birth.

She decided to play a trick on Nate to see if he was telling the truth.

Tracy dabbed a tea towel onto some tomato sauce she was cooking and pretended she'd cut her finger.

Nate saw and collapsed onto the floor, leaving viewers stunned as he quickly came around after dramatically fainting.

One tweeted: "Was Nate joking as well he came round faster than he went down ffs".

While another penned: "I'm sorry but no one wakes up that quick from fainting at the sight of blood!"

"Haha his faint omg", remarked a third.

After Nate passed out, a panicked Tracy said: "Oh, I'm so sorry no! It's not real I just wanted to check you weren't exaggerating.

"Nate?"

As Nate got up, she continued: "I'm so sorry, I'm such an idiot.

"I thought it would just freak you out a tiny little bit."

After the ordeal, Nate said: "I don't think I can do the whole birthing thing thought Tracy.

"I'm sorry but there's no way."

Will Nate be able to be at the birth? Viewers will have to wait until Tracy gives birth.
