EastEnders Martin and Zack receive paternity test results amid baby bombshell

EastEnders fans will finally out the identity of baby Alyssa's father next week.

The child was dropped off on the doorstep of Sharon Watts' (Letitia Dean) a few weeks ago.

Since the unexpected delivery, there has been plenty of mystery surrounding who Alyssa belongs to.

Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Martin Fowler (James Bye) have both tried to help Sharon look after the child.

Things take a surprising turn in upcoming scenes when they take a step closer to finding out more about Alyssa's family.

In the market, Zack takes Alyssa off Martin but as he walks off her toy drops and unbeknownst to him a girl watches on.

Both Zack and Martin receive the paternity test results but things take a dramatic turn when Alyssa's toy gets dropped off.

Zack takes a quick look around the area and sees a girl looking over.

Once him and Sharon catch up to her she tells them her name – Jada Lennox (Kelsey Calladine-Smith), Alyssa's mother.

When she reveals who the father is Sharon and Zack are shocked.

Is the dad Zack, Martin or another Walford resident?

In the café, Zack gets a nervous Jada to open up and she admits that can’t look after Alyssa.

Viewers will have to wait to find out why Jada is unable to care for her daughter.

Elsewhere in Albert Square, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) is shocked to discover that her daughter Pearl (Arayah Harris-Buckle) is having behavioural issues at school.

Her teacher pays Kim a visit explaining that Pearl needs to be challenged more because she is so smart, making Kim more determined than ever to send her to a private school.

Isaac Baptiste tries to get Kim to see that that private schools aren’t the only way to give Pearl a good education but Kim doesn’t budge, vowing to set up an online donation site for her followers to contribute to.
