Former EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon has shared a childhood picture with her followers.
The actress, who portrayed Tiffany Mitchell in the BBC One soap, posted the snap on Instagram, which features her younger self standing in her former home in front of a Christmas tree.
‘OMG!,’ wrote the soap star on the social media platform. ‘My Mum just sent me this picture.
‘Look how excited I was for Christmas when I was a kid! Some things never change!
‘Look at that tinsel too… Go Mum!’
Fans were quick to comment below, with one writing: ‘What a lovely photo and a lovely mum you have.’
‘Look at all those presents too’, noted another. ‘Our tree used to be like that all dressed up and presents piled up underneath.’
A social media user added: ‘aww just how Christmas use to be good old days ..bring me theses Christmas back any day.
‘the Christmas cards on string on the wall best days ever.’
Martine made her debut in EastEnders back in 1995, and featured in many a memorable storyline.
Tiffany became a barmaid in the soap’s iconic pub The Queen Vic, and would subsequently have a relationship with mainstay Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp).
The character met her demise in 1998, when Frank Butcher ran her down in the road, bringing to an end Martine’s three-year stint in the serial drama.
