After an epic 12 weeks on Strictly Come Dancing last year, BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker dropped a third of a stone while regularly training with his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova throughout the show.
But it appears the 44-year-old is planning on making up for lost time after he was shouted at by BBC producers not to eat a prized dessert while the TV presenter was on air.
During Monday’s instalment of BBC Breakfast, the doting dad struggled to resist the urge not to eat a delicious trifle made in honour of the Queen platinum celebration.
It comes after the launch of the nationwide competition which tasks budding bakers up and down the country to create a new dessert for the royal occasion which will be enjoyed during her grand jubilee this summer.
But as the doting dad and his co-host Nina Warhust fought the urge to eat the sweet treat as they patiently waited for a professional chef to appear on the show and discuss his latest creation.
The mouth-watering dessert was created by former Great British Bake of winner David Atherton who won the classic baking series back in 2019.
