Coronation Street fans think they have predicted how Emma Brooker and Faye Windass will be caught after they accidentally killed an old man called Ted during a driving lesson on Monday's episode.
During the latest instalment, Emma took Faye for a driving lesson after a New Year's Eve party where they accidentally knocked over Ted, who had been picking up his dropped shopping in the road.
After taking the stunned pensioner home, who insisted he didn't want to go to hospital as he felt fine, they called round later in the episode to check on him and discovered he had died.
Emma and Faye, who was recently released from prison, decided to cover up the crime and not alert emergency services.
During the scenes, Ted received a parcel at his home to which the delivery driver spotted Emma through the letterbox as she nervously signed for the package.
Soap watchers were quick to point out that Emma's signature, if she used her real name, could be their downfall as they took to Twitter to speculate.
One person said: "Emma signed her own name I bet #Corrie."
A different account put: "Signed Emma (Steve’s daughter ) #corrie ."
Another follower commented: "Did you sign your own name Emma #Corrie," followed by fearful emojis.
A different viewer questioned: "Bet Emma signed her own name for the delivery #Corrie."
While another soap watcher added: "Well I can’t imagine the old man ordering a parcel so if it’s his grandsons he might be tracking it and realise it’s not his grandads signature. #corrie."
Coronation Street fans also think they have worked out a new twist on the ITV soap and have predicted that Ted's grandson, "John", who he spoke about, could be Curtis Delamere.
Viewers speculated whether Curtis', who is Emma's ex fiancé, real name could be John after he lied about several things on the ITV soap, including a life-threatening heart condition.
One person said: "Is Curtis going to be the grandson they keep mentioning #Corrie."
A different account put: "Just a thought- will Ted's grandson turn out to be Curtis?? #Corrie #CoronationStreet."
Another follower commented: "I have a feeling Ted is related to Curtis? Maybe his grandad? #Corrie."
