Coronation Street viewers are pleading with the ITV soap to reveal new scenes that didn't make it to air.
In the latest double-episode on Wednesday, fans were informed of particular moments between much-loved couple Peter Barlow and Carla Connor – known as Carter by loyal fans.
Beth Tinker was left a little annoyed when she learned baby Bertie, the son of Sinead and Daniel, was being looked after by the couple instead of her being asked.
Despite fans being hopeful they were about to see some super adorable scenes, the trio didn't feature together in the episode at all.
Viewers were sure some cute scenes of Peter and Carla looking after the tot were going to air, but by the end of the second episode there was nothing.
Taking to Twitter , viewers began to beg bosses to show them the scenes they wanted to see.
One fan said: "I LOVE that peter and carla are playing uncle and auntie with bertie so thank YOU!!! what’d be really nice is if you were to show us these quality scenes."
Another agreed: "Would it kill @ITVCorrie to let us see Carla & Peter with Bertie? It would honestly be one of the best scenes of the entire year."
A third said: "Peter and Carla have Bertie” OH MY WHY DONT WE GET TO SEE THESE SCENES!!!"
As the episode continued, fans began to realise it wasn't going to happen.
One fan said: "Berties back and STILL no Carla and Peter Corrie you playing us now."
A second wrote: "Corrie doing that shot to show the door in the cafe where Carla and Peter probably are with Bertie is just pure tease."
There was heartache in store, as Bertie's mother Sinead couldn't even hold him after having chemotherapy treatment following the news she had terminal cancer.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
