Coronation Street: Adam exposes lying pregnant wife Sarah at gender reveal party
Coronation Street’s Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) recently accepted a job as Henry Newton’s (George Banks) personal assistant, but it seems she could struggle to keep up.
The Rovers Return was under threat of closure which left Gemma to get in contact with Henry, with him putting in an offer for his brewery, Newton and Ridley, to buy it.
Whilst she was sceptical about working with Henry, she decided that it was the right decision for the Rovers, her community and would be a larger income for her family.
In upcoming scenes, Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) presents Gemma with a furry notebook and matching pen for her first day in the new job.
Gemma arrives for the Newton & Ridley board meeting and is excited to show Henry her new notebook and how seriously she is taking it.

As the meeting comes to an end, Gemma is curious as to why a conversation about the Rover’s Return didn’t happen.
Getting her name wrong and pointing out her “childish” notebook, Phillip Newton (Bruce McGregor) notes that they simply ran out of time.
As his father leaves, Henry does his best to put her at her ease after Philip makes his disapproval obvious.
Later, Gemma calls at the Rovers and admits to Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) that it’s been a tough day.

Jenny is scared that Newton & Ridley will pull out of their deal and will lose the Rovers once and for all.
Can Gemma stick out her job for the sake of saving the Rovers and keeping her fellow residents happy?
Will Henry be able to stick to his word and keep their working relationship professional?
When Henry first offered Gemma the job, he expressed that he would keep it professional, especially after he found out she was married and had five children.
Chesney was wary about their relationship as Henry made it clear in the past how he felt for Gemma and was eager for more.
Henry actor George Banks recently opened up about Henry’s intentions the second time around and discussed his relationship with Gemma.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk he said: “I do think for him there is that sort of romantic aspect to it. When you meet an old flame you can’t help but be reminded of the times you had together.
“And for him, they were good times before it all went wrong and that was his fault.”
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
