BRIDGERTON star Jonathan Bailey has revealed the saucy secrets behind sex scenes on the Netflix series – which include having his bum slathered with cosmetics.
The British actor, who plays troubled Lord Anthony Bridgerton in the hit Regency-era drama, spoke candidly about the plot's racy moments on today's Lorraine.

Jonathan, 32, whose character is the protective, elder brother to protagonist Daphne, hasn't been shy in addressing his half-naked stints on the period drama.
As such, ITV show host Lorraine Kelly candidly asked the Netflix hunk: "Can we talk briefly about bottoms?
"Now we showed this photograph …" before an image flashed on-screen showing a make-up artist painting the actors's derriere with liquid cosmetics, as he stood on-set with his trousers down.
Scot Lorraine quipped: "Now that's got to be one of the best jobs in the world – that's the wee lady who is, I think they call it 'fluffing' – is that what they do?"
Jonathan replied: "I don't know what they call it Lorraine – I think they call it ice breaking!" before he added: "That was my first scene.
"Funnily enough I think you blurred out part of the bum which makes it look like she's painted over it."
He went on to reveal the set is equipped with an intimacy coordinator and said: "Doing any sex scenes felt really empowered and the women felt really safe, which as a man is important, and in turn you feel really safe.
"But there is a moment when they say 'can we lower the britches' and when I lowered them they were like 'can we call in make-up?' And that's when you go (grimaces) but luckily it was just to shine the botty."
Lorraine added: "Of course it was, it's perfect, we have all seen it!"
Broadchurch star Jonathan has previously spoken out about his booty-baring role as he joked to Glamour magazine: "Everything I've done involves me getting my bum out!"
Talking of his role in Shonda Rhimes' series, he told the publication: "I think there's an inherent curiosity about sexuality because it's linked to tribalism and knowing where you stand with people and how you interact.
"That's why it's always exciting. I think with period dramas – which is genre that I love – we always know that there'll be an unbuttoning of the corset and maybe a kiss at the end with a firework.
"But what better way to flip that genre like Shonda Rhimes has done.
"I think with Anthony you see his bottom first and then it pans up.
"There's no better way to say, ‘we see the genre and we raise you!’ Bottoms up!"
The show follows Daphne Bridgerton, who is the eldest daughter in a powerful and wealthy family and wants to meet a man and get married.
However, following the death of her father, Daphne must be chaperoned by her possessive older brother Anthony, who is also struggling to find love.
Daphne then comes into contact with the insubordinate Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) and they come together to develop a plan that will keep her safe.
Anthony is the eldest Bridgerton sibling and dutiful head of the family since assuming his late father’s title of Viscount.
Actor Jonathan has previously starred as Jack Patterson in W1A, Lance Miller in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Edward in Hooten & the Lady, Sam in Crashing, Leonardo da Vinci in the historical drama Leonardo, as well as playing Olly Stevens in Broadchurch.
