BBC Breakfast presenter Sally Nugent issued a warning to her colleague Carol Kirkwood after her co-host Jon Kay continued to playfully tease.
During Wednesday's show (November 15), Carol was back in the studio for her latest weather report. But as she came to her second weather forecast of the morning, she concluded that there would be a rise in temperatures.
As she handed the reins back to news anchors Jon and Sally, Jon said: "That bag is truly mixed, that is one of the most mixed bags we have ever had." Laughing at his observation, Carol said: "That is a good line, I'm going to pinch that."
Jon then quipped: "That you very much indeed, I was talking about the weather." Sally then jokingly warned: "He is on form today Carol, we are going to have to watch out I think.
Fans at home were also quick to notice Jon's jovial side and headed over to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts. One viewer penned: "Haha Jon is pulling them out the bag today!"
Another said: "Sally having to warn Carol about Jon's dad jokes has killed me off. Bless him." While another added: "I love the dynamic between this team! Jon's jokes and the way Sally just sits there!"
Earlier in the programme, Jon pulled out a dad joke while searching for stories in the newspapers. After discovering an interesting story, he turned to his co-host and said: "Sal I love this story in the papers this morning about a bird in New Zealand.
"Every year in New Zealand they have a competition on what is your favourite bird, and for a bird competition, they take it very seriously. The comedian and TV presenter in America, John Oliver, has decided that he would enter it, not as a bird, as a voter even in America.
