Adam Henson recently launched his Channel 5 series, Our Family Farm Rescue, which sees the Countryfile presenter helping a number of struggling farmers in a bid to save their farms from going out of business. Adam, who runs his dad’s farm, helps farmers to come up with different ways they can make an extra source of income. During the programme, the 55-year-old has managed to help many families turn their businesses around. However, in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the presenter went on to admit, one famous farmer he would love to work with is, Jeremy Clarkson.

Earlier this year, the former Top Gear host launched his own Amazon Prime series, Clarkson’s Farm.

The programme follows Jeremy as he attempts to run Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton.

However, the 61-year-old is not on his own, as he has farm manager Kaleb Cooper on hand to help him.

Throughout the programme, which has just been renewed for season two, Jeremy has faced more than a few challenges as he learns the ropes of running his own farm.

Adam, who runs Cotswold Farm Park, is located about 45 minutes away from Diddly Squat Farm.

He explained he would love to work with Jeremy and give him a few tips and advice on how he can improve the running of his farm.

He went on to warn The Grand Tour host to “slow down” and “plan” a bit more.

Adam began: “They’re only about 45 minutes away, Kaleb is trying [to help him] and Alan, they’re trying their best to help him out.”

Praising the presenter, he continued: “But in an informative way he has really highlighted the challenges of farming with the weather, the legislation and planning.

“You know all of the rules and regulations that farmers have to jump through to produce healthy food, and he’s done a really fun way.

“I’ve got endless advice I could give him.”

Sharing his words of warning, Adam continued: “He needs to slow down and plan a little bit before he goes piling in buying things and doing things and then regret it afterwards.”

Another farmer Adam would love to work with is Our Yorkshire Farm star, Amanda Owen.

Amanda and her husband Clive run Ravenseat Farm along with their nine children.

The Shepherdess’ reality series follows the Owen family as they go about the day-to-day running of their farm.

During the programme, the 46-year-old openly talks about the struggles of farming how the weather can have a detrimental effect on their flock.

Despite Amanda’s farm being completely different to what he is used to, Adam explained he would love to go along and make some suggestions to the Owen family.

He said: “Amanda is a great presenter, a great person and (I don’t know) how she manages to juggle her life with all those children.”

When asked about teaming up with Amanda, Adam continued: “Yes, I mean obviously [her farm] is very different to what I’m used to.”

Suggesting he’d have some warnings about how to alter Ravenseat, he added: “And, you know, far be it for me to tell her how to run a farm, but I’d love to go along and visit and maybe make some suggestions and share some of my stories.”

Our Family Farm Rescue with Adam Henson is available to watch on Channel 5.
