Adam Collards most explosive moments from Rosie row to awkward sexy photoshoot

Former Islander Adam Collard has returned to the Love Island villa and already looks set to be causing drama amid his new cast mates.

A preview of Tuesday night’s episode sees Jacques O’Neill get riled up after learning that the 2018 contestant has allegedly been talking behind his back after making a move on his former partner Paige Thorne.

The 26 year old’s time in the villa back in 2018 was not without its controversial moments either, with the personal trainer pursuing relationships with several women during his time on the show.

After enjoying dalliances with Kendall Rae-Knight and Rosie Williams, Adam then settled in a partnership with Zara McDermott, and the pair dated for eight months after the show before calling it quits.

Adam ruffled a few feathers during his time in the villa, not least Rosie, with the pair having a number of verbal bust-ups, even prompting Women's Aid to issue a warning about abusive relationships.

While in a partnership with Rosie on the show, Adam tried to make a move on Megan Barton Hanson, telling her that Rosie had been getting needy during an attempt to flirt with her.

But things backfired when Megan was furious about the conversation and went on to tell Rosie what had happened, saying: "I think he’s scraping the barrel to find excuses to move on because he just wants to f**k everything in here.”

His criticism caused Rosie to break down in tears and she said to the girls: "I just want to be enough for someone. Why am I not enough for someone?"

However, Adam’s head was turned again when newcomer Zara entered the villa.

After Rosie pulled Adam for a chat to ask why he seemed off with her, Adam tried to put the blame on Rosie for his head turning as he told her: "Yeah, I probably do fancy Zara.

“It didn’t really mean anything before you acted like a child. We’ll agree to disagree."

Rosie was left fuming at the comments, saying in the beach hut: "Classic Adam, using excuses, blaming me for his behaviour shall we say. He is not content with any girl.”

Following the episode, charity Women’s Aid released a statement to say that “there are clear warning signs in Adam’s behaviour” and accused him of gaslighting Rosie.

Later, the star came under fire again after criticising Megan and Rosie for taking part in a sexy photoshoot.

After vowing to move on from their failed romance, Rosie and Megan decided to show Adam what he was missing and got together to do a photoshoot in their lingerie in the garden.

“Normally if a boy p***** me off I would get smoking photos and post them all over social media to show him what he’s missing, but I’m just going to do it in front of his face," Rosie said at the time.

"We’re women, if we want to take a photo of our gorgeous bodies, we will do.”

However, Adam was not amused by the move, later saying: “They probably think boys are attracted to that, but boys actually find that the most off putting thing in the world. I’ve seen it all now, I’ve seen it all.”

He continued: “If that was some sort of ‘hail Mary’ to try and draw my eyes back to her, it’s not really going to work. That sort of stuff does not pull my attention at all.”

Afterwards, he then refused to share a bed with Rosie, later telling Zara she’d “brought it on herself”.

In a post-show interview after leaving the villa, Adam spoke to OK! about the situation and admitted he regretted some of his past behaviour.

When asked if he was shocked by accusations of him being "emotionally abusive", Adam said: "That really upset me. I regret some of my behaviour towards Rosie but I don't think I was being controlling or abusive and I didn't set out to deliberately upset her.

"Rosie has said she doesn't think I was being emotionally abusive, which I really appreciated."

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
