A PLACE in the Sun's Jasmine Harman fought back tears as she filmed an emotional fitness video during a break from filming.
The 45-year-old presenter on the Channel 4 show likes to keep fit and on Tuesday, she shared an emotional video after the first stage of lockdown rules had been lifted.
The change meant outdoor exercise classes were allowed to take place and Jasmine was a bit tearful following her Zumba workout.
The mum-of-two shared a video of herself sitting in her car and explained that there were two reasons why she felt a bit tearful.
She said: "It’s actually hard to describe how excited I was to just go to my first class back at David Lloyd. And I’m trying to work out why.
“I was literally nearly in tears as I walked into the class and I saw loads of the people that I haven’t seen for a year.
“And I think it’s because we’ve been so deprived of human contact over the last year that I felt emotional.
“But also because, doing the class, I realised how far I have to go to get myself back to any sort of semblance of fitness."
Jasmine had been open about her weight gain during lockdown back in February, and revealed how glad she was to be back on track with her fitness.
She continued: "I felt like that’s the first step of the journey, and even though I’ve been working out since the kids went back to school, I’ve been doing online workouts at home, this is the type of exercise that I love and I enjoy.
“And it doesn’t feel like a chore to go and do it, because trying to force yourself to do something that you don’t enjoy is not sustainable."
Jasmine isn't the only A Place in the Sun presenter who keeps her fans up to date on her exercise regime, as co-star Laura Hamilton also posts regular workout videos for her followers to enjoy too.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
