EastEnders' Rose Ayling-Ellis and her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice gave their fans a frosty response this week after they were told to up their game on social media.
The dancing duo, who have dazzled judges and fans with their impressive techniques on the BBC programme, have been fairly silent on Instagram and Twitter over the last few days.
Unlike their fellow contestants who have provided their fans with regular updates on their social media platforms regarding their rehearsals and intense training sessions, both Rose and Giovanni haven't really done the same.
But Taking to Instagram on Monday the couple decided to show their retaliation by given a fairly chilly response.
In a sequence of videos posted on Rose's Instagram the pair can be seen looking blank as they stare into the camera lens.
The following day, professional dancer Giovanni posted a video to his Instagram story where Rose and himself could be seen eating a sandwich and looked completely withdrawn from what their fans are accustomed to – the glitz and the glam of behind-the-scenes snippets.
Giovanni captioned the post: "We have been told we have to be on social media more!! There we are."
On Sunday, Rose took to Instagram to share a picture of herself in her gorgeous Strictly outfit.
Alongside the photo she penned: "Cuba quiero bailar la salsa but first let me have my peppermint tea!
"Fabulous evening and I love every minute. Thank you @pernicegiovann1 for helping me to discover that I actually do have hip."
Fans certainly loved what they saw and took the comment section to air their views on the stunning snap.
One fan penned: "So proud of you Rose. You’re a little star."
Another fan agreed and penned: "Rose you were both Fabulous!!!"
Meanwhile a third happy follower commented: "Loved watching you dance! It looks like you’re having the best time."
Actress Rose is certainly breaking down barriers on this year's series, as she becomes the first ever deaf contestant to appear on Strictly.
Speaking on her interaction with music on the show, Rose told The Guardian: "[People] think we hear nothing.
"But hearing stuff isn’t just about hearing stuff in your ear. It’s also visual, you watch the show, you feel it as well."
For her first performance on Strictly, Rose received a silent round of applause from the audiences and judges who were left very impressed with her routine.
