Kim and Kourtney Kardashian have had their children baptised in a secret ceremony in Armenia.
Kim Kardiashian West and her big sister arrived in Armenia last night and narrowly avoided being mobbed by hundreds of fans waiting for her at the terminal, Daily Star Online can exclusively reveal.
The 38-year-old KUWTK star arrived into the Armenian capital of Yerevan in the early hours of this morning.
A mob of over 100 fans waited eagerly to catch a glimpse of the star at the city’s international airport, but Kim opted to leave the terminal via the presidential exit instead.
A source told Daily Star Online the star was meant to leave via a VIP exit – dodging the eager fans in the terminal – where journalists and paparazzi were waiting to get a short chat and pictures of her.
But Kim instead managed to sneak out of the presidential exit of Zvartnots International Airport – reserved only for the use of top delegates.
Daily Star Online’s source said KKW didn’t want to be fussed and opted for a private escape “because the kids were sleeping”.
Daily Star Online understands Kim has travelled to Armenia with sister Kourtney and their seven children – Psalm, Saint, North, Chicago, Mason, Penelope and Reign.
The reality superstar and sister Kourtney are understood to have baptised their children in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin this morning.
Father Vahram Melikyan, Director of the Information department at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin revealed: “No special ceremony has taken place. Like all other families, they also were registered in advance and came here as scheduled."
Kim will be a special keynote speaker and panellist at the 23rd World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2019), in Yerevan, Armenia this week.
While Kim's mother Kris Jenner is of Dutch, English, Irish, and Scottish ancestry, her late father Robert Kardashian, a famed Los Angeles lawyer who died of cancer in 2003, was a third-generation Armenian-American.
Kim Kardashian, her husband Kanye West and Khloe Kardashian first visited Armenia in 2015.
They visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan to paid tribute to the memory of the victims.
The Calabasas socialite tweeted she had arrived safely last night, saying: “Almost 3am in Armenia and I can’t sleep I’m so excited to be here and see everyone!”
On Saturday, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a cute throwback photo of herself with older sister Kourtney, presumably from their teen years, and she captioned the snap with some telling travel plans.
“We’re going to Armenia” the caption stated simply.
Kim recently revealed she has future plans to open the production of her latest shapewear SKIMS in Armenia.
“I will be visiting Armenia in the next 2 weeks and hope to seek ways I can help increase trade and hopefully create jobs for Armenians which includes @skims production there in the future”, Kardashian tweeted.
