Enrique Iglesias' grandmother has died aged 98, though no cause of death has been confirmed.
His grandmother died in Madrid on Sunday after moving from the Philippines in the 90s.
She moved to Spain from the Philippines to live with her daughter Isabel Preysler, 70, Enrique's mother, who began her career as a journalist in ¡Hola!. before hosting TV shows.
Enrique will be flying to Madrid with his brother Julio to support their mother and their family following the death of their grandmother Beatriz.
A memorial service was held on Monday at Isabel's home to honour Beatriz, with herself, two of Beatriz' grandchildren and their Catholic priest Father Ángel.
In the early days of his career, Enrique told Elle Magazine that his grandmother was "the best" of his family.
At the time, he said: "I say that because I love her very much. She's a great woman."
He said that he recalls a lot of "fun times" with his grandma, admitting he used to take her to the casino when she would stay with him in Miami.
