Britney Spears sons havent seen her in months amid slew of naked Insta snaps

Kevin Federline has broken his silence on his ex-wife Britney Spears' recent racy social media posts, claiming that their two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, no longer see their mother.

The former back-up dancer, 44, opened up about the impact Britney's recent social media presence has had on the children they share, and that they have made the decision to halt contact with her, despite her new mansion being only minutes away from their LA home.

He also confirmed that the boys did not want to attend Britney's wedding to Sam Asghari earlier this year, following the termination of her 13-year conservatorship.

Kevin married Britney, 40, in 2004, before their public break-up in 2006. Since then, he has rarely spoken out about his ex-wife.

However, in a recent interview reported by MailOnline, Kevin said: "The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now. It's been a few months since they've seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding."

He went on to discuss that her nude snaps plastered across social media had been difficult for Sean Preston and Jayden, and the effect the pop star's conservatorship had on them. He said that while he believed her conservatorship was done with "the best intentions", it created numerous parenting challenges.

"This whole thing has been hard to watch, harder to live through, harder to watch my boys go through than anything else, it's been tough", he said.

He confirmed that one of the reasons the boys chose to no longer see their mother, was because they were "increasingly uncomfortable" with some of the things they saw during visits. Kevin refused to elaborate further.

Despite that, he said he has tried to create a loving home for his sons away from the limelight.

He said that he encourages an open relationship with healthy communication, discussing difficult topics such as sex, drugs and things that "teenagers go through".

It comes as Britney has recently started posting nude and risqué images to her Instagram account, in a bid to celebrate her conservatorship ending and her finally reclaiming control of her life.

But Kevin explained that Sean and Jayden find it difficult to deal with. He told his sons that Britney is just trying to "express herself", but admitted that he couldn't imagine "how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school".

Kevin said: "They tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but at the same time, I can tell that sometimes, it hurts to be in that position. So, I made sure all my kids can come to me at any moment and discuss anything. The boys – all my kids – know that they come to me and to my wife and discuss anything."

Daily Star has contacted Britney's representatives for comment.
