Britney Spears has revealed she “cried for two weeks” after being embarrassed by the Hulu documentary that explored her life.
The documentary, called Framing Britney Spears, detailed the ups and downs of Britney’s career so far.
The powerful doc shined a light on her mental health struggles from 2008 and current conservatorship battle to the #FreeBritney movement started by fans.
Taking to Instagram to post a video of her dancing to Aerosmith’s song Crazy, wearing a red crop top and low riding shorts Britney finally broke her silence on the hit film.
She captioned the video: “My life has always been very speculated…watched … and judged really my whole life!
“For my sanity I need to dance to @iamstevent every night of my life to feel wild and human and alive!
“I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people !!! It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I've always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day!”
Britney Spears' fans convinced she's trying to send secret messages with cryptic posts
She revealed she didn’t watch the documentary in its entirety but that what she did see caused her to cry for two weeks.
She said: “As the world keeps on turning and life goes on we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people! I didn't watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes!

“I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy … love … and happiness!!!! Every day dancing brings me joy! I'm not here to be perfect … perfect is boring … I'm here to pass on kindness!”
Fans have praised the singer for speaking out and took to the comments to voice their support.
“This is beautiful, Britney, and you speak such honesty and truth,” said one fan.

This comes days after Britney filed legal papers to request her father, Jamie Spears, to be removed as her legal conservator and replaced by Jodi Montgomery permanently.
Despite numerous attempts to end her dad’s control he remains co-conservator currently and therefore has control over her finances and a wide range of her personal life decisions.
The documents also showed she wants to be able to completely end the controversial arrangement entirely if necessary.
