What's 'dolphin skin'? Dive face first into this glowy makeup highlighting trick

Some trends come and go, but “dolphin skin” is one that looks like it’s here to stay.

Around this time last year, makeup artists and influencers were popping up all over social media showing off super glowy, wet-like, dewy skin — hence the birth of the term “dolphin skin.”

This look is perfect for summer as it gives off a sun-kissed alluring look similar to the aquatic mammal many people have come to love.

Makeup artists such as Mary Phillips, who works with everyone from Hailey Bieber to Jennifer Lopez, have unknowingly been in on the trend for years, and now it’s becoming a staple look for many.

Mega beauty influencer Huda Kattan also has demonstrated the viral trend on TikTok, which left her with a gilded, glowing look that over 87,000 people loved.

In a little less than 10 steps, Kattan’s dolphin skin look was achieved.
