British couple James and Nikki Roadnight were in for the surprise of a lifetime when Keanu Reeves showed up to celebrate their nuptials on Monday in Northamptonshire, England.

The groom saw the “Matrix” actor, 57, hanging out in the bar of the Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa and invited him to the reception.

“He was very friendly and said he would [come] later on,” Nikki told Newsweek Thursday. “We didn’t know if he would or not but it was cool that my husband had spoken to him!”

As newlyweds enjoyed the party, a hotel staff member told them that a “very special guest” was waiting for them.

“It was all very exciting,” the bride raved. “I went to say hi and introduce myself, and I offered him a drink but he declined that and said he’d just had a long flight so wouldn’t stay long but he was so kind and friendly and congratulated us on our wedding.”

She noted that Reeves not only talked to “starstruck” wedding attendees, but also posed for pictures with the newlyweds.

“My mum, Jo, took photos and shouted for everyone to yell ‘Speed’ as she took the photo,” Nikki continued. “We laughed about that as it’s one of his older films! We are big fans.”

The newlyweds raved about meeting the “Something’s Gotta Give” star.
