Tattoo model takes four photos of face years apart to show ink evolution

Tattoo model Amber Luke has covered herself in dramatic body art over the years.

And to show just how much her alternative look has evolved, she shared four images of her face taken years apart to highlight her transformation.

The model, from Brisbane, Australia, first went under the needle when she was a teenager.

But nowadays, she has ink that sprawls across 98% of her body and has dubbed herself Blue Eyes White Dragon.

In the Instagram post, shared with her 21,000 followers, the 26-year-old wrote: "I set the goal at 20 to have a full body suit by the time I was 25 years old. I managed to get 98% done in five years.

"$230,000 AUD (around £130,000) later (including all my tattoos, major surgeries & injections) – we now see the ‘Blue Eyes White Dragon’ emerge.

"I am humbly proud to be the person I am today.

"I thank you SO much for your love and support – to my OGs who have supported me over these years… well, man, I gotta whole lotta love for ya’ll."

The post amassed almost 1,000 likes in a matter of hours and fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on Amber's progression.

One fan wrote: "I have so much love and respect for you. Absolutely love how far you've come in your body mod endeavour. Can't wait to see your next addition. Lots of love."

Another commented: "An incredible, inspiring, and absolutely beautiful evolution!"

And a third said: "You can see the happiness in your eyes grow bigger and bigger."

Amber first went under the needle as a teenager and has now covered herself in 98% cent ink in the space of a decade.

She currently has more than 600 tattoos on her skin and has even taken to having body modifications done – such as stretched ears, dermal piercings and even a split tongue.

The alternative model certainly has a distinctive look and she is showing no signs of slowing down with her desire to be covered in a full body tattoo.

She recently blacked out her entire arm with ink – in what would have been a very painful procedure.

There are many designs on the model's body that she has no room left to have any more added on.

So she has taken the drastic decision to simply black out sections of her body to keep her obsession with ink alive.
