Rita Ora aces ‘Vanilla Girl’ trend in first look at her new music video glam

In case you haven't heard, the Clean Girl look is so last year. That whole “healthy, barely-there” aesthetic has now been upgraded to the more luxe and glowy “Vanilla Girl” trend – and oh my, we’ve just seen Rita Ora set the bar sky high.

In a stunning new look that might even get Hailey Beiber taking feverish notes, the Anywhere singer is seen backstage getting prepped for her latest music video. Essentially Rita's a walking, talking masterclass in all our Vanilla Girl goals: expensive-looking dewy skin, plumped and glossy nude lips, richly pigmented lashes, neutral eye and cheek tones, and a lit-from-within glow bouncing off cheekbones.

And since a Vanilla Girl loves a seamless colour palette across her entire look, we’re giving extra points for Rita's shimmering hair in classy ice-cream tones, and her pale chiffon-y fashion choice.

Rita’s beauty update sees her behind the scenes of her new You Only Love Me video, where she’s also unveiling her latest creative collaborator: Iconic London.

We don’t know if this is part of an official celeb ambassador signing, but the judge from The Masked Singer has teamed up with the brand to create her luminous on-camera look, and she’s also shared some of her Iconic London favourites.

She declares herself “obsessed” with Iconic’s Prep-Set-Glow, now£19.20 here, which she’s seen being misted with on set to pump up the radiance and keep the look locked in place.

Another secret to her Vanilla Girl glow is the brand’s cult Illuminator, now£25.60 here . Away from set, Rita also uses it as a skincare hack for when she’s rolled off the red-eye and needs her skin to look perky in a flash.

As she explains: “The Illuminator is good because [when you get] off a plane you mix it with foundation, you mix it with moisturising cream and it just gives this dewy finish. It’s fantastic, it makes my skin so glowy, so dewy.”

She adds: “It looks and feels so light.” So phew, there will be no need for Rita to repeat her Masked Singer catchphrase: “Take it off! Take it off!”
