A mum has created a DIY Christmas tree from empty wine bottles – and shared snaps of it online.
Many Brits have been hoisting up their Christmas trees and decorating early this year.
After all, who doesn't need a bit more cheer in 2020?
But, while many of us put up green firs, snowy pines and even stylish pink trees – one woman has a "one of a kind" tree.
Posting in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK she shared a video and photo of the boozy tree.
The festive creation is made up of over 100 empty wine bottles all of which are Echo Falls – so it's all symmetrical.
Would you make this tree for your home? Let us know in the comments…
The mum strapped the bottles together in the shape of a fir tree – the classic Christmas tree shape.
Then she added a star tree topper and magical fairy lights to make the tree glow in the dark.
She wrote online: “My wine bottle Christmas tree I made 6 years ago and still going strong.”
The post quickly gained thousands of views and amassed 3,000 likes.
One person wrote: “I reckon I could make this in time for Christmas.”
“WOW, you drank a lot of wine – looks fab,” added another.
A third commented: “Now that is a piece of art!”
Remember, if you try to make your own, you can collect wine bottles from friends and family after the festive season.
What a fab way to recycle and reuse!
