MORRISONS has expanded the number of stores offering click and collect slots, giving shoppers more opportunities to pick up their shopping.
The supermarket is making up to 37,000 click and collect slots available each day by expanding its service to 447 stores across the UK.
There were just 14 Morrisons stores offering click and collect during the first lockdown in March 2020.
This then grew to 280 in the second lockdown during November but it is unclear how many click and collect slots were available at the time.
Shoppers need to register with Morrisons online and select a click and collect slot from a store nearby store.
You can then choose from available hourly slots.
How much supermarkets charge for click and collect delivery
HERE’S how much the major supermarkets charge for click and collect grocery deliveries:
- Asda: Click and collect is free for next day or later deliveries. But you must spend at least £25, if not there's a £4 charge.
- Morrisons: Click and collect is free all day Monday to Thursday, from 12pm to 4pm on Fridays and Sundays, and from 2pm to 4pm on Saturdays. Outside these hours it costs £1 but only 14 stores currently offer this service.
- Sainsbury's: Click and collect is free for next day or later deliveries. But you must spend at least £40, if not there's a £4 charge.
- Tesco: Click and collect costs £1.50 if you spend at least £25, if not you'll be charged an extra £4 on top.
We have asked Morrisons what the charges are for click and collect but The Sun has previously reported that it is free all day Monday to Thursday, from 12pm to 4pm on Fridays and Sundays, and from 2pm to 4pm on Saturdays.
Outside these hours it costs £1 but the times available will depend on your local store.
Once you've completed your shopping order, Morrisons will then text or email you when it's ready.
The message will contain a link that you need to click once you arrive at the collection point at your chosen store and your shopping will be brought out to your car.
Shoppers should use the Morrisons store locator to find their nearest supermarket.

Miles Foster, online operations director for Morrisons, said: "We are doing everything we can to increase the amount of home delivery slots available but we recognise that the slots get snapped up quickly in lockdown.
"Click and collect is an excellent alternative and is proving really popular with customers.
"We have slots available now nationwide so our customers can get the groceries they need in a contact-free and convenient way."
Supermarket delivery and click and collect slots have been filling up since England entered its third lockdown.
Shoppers have complained about having to wait weeks to arrange deliveries from supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Morrisons.
Websites have also crashed with increased demand from people staying home.
There have also been reports of panic buyers stripping supermarket shelves.
Morrisons shoppers can also get their deliveries the same-day through Amazon and Deliveroo.
We've put together a guide to find out when supermarkets release upcoming order dates.
