Meghan Markle will turn 38 on Sunday, August 4.
This will be Prince Harry’s wife’s first birthday as a mother.
She gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, and has only stepped out in public a handful of times.
But a Royal birthday is always cause for celebration.
What did Meghan do last year?
On her 37th birthday, Meghan attended Charlie van Straubenzee’s wedding.
Prince Harry was the best man at the wedding.
Meghan has previously spoken about why she prefers to keep birthdays low-key.
In an entry on the now-closed blog The Tig, Meghan said: “My mom has always said that birthdays are your own personal New Year.
“Your own chance to make resolutions just for yourself and what you prognosticate for your year ahead.”
How will Meghan’s birthday compare to Kate Middleton’s?
This year the Kensington Palace Instagram account celebrated by sharing pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge’s engagements since returning from maternity leave.
It is also believed she celebrated privately with a tea party at Kensington Palace.
A source told Vanity Fair: “Kate’s not into big birthday celebrations, but George and Charlotte adore birthday cake, so there will be a special tea party at the Palace with candles and presents.”
Members of the Royal family tend to celebrate their birthdays in private.
