Jess Wright jets off on luxury skiing trip to celebrate husband William Lee-Kemps 40th birthday

Jess Wright , who recently opened up about her postnatal depression , is celebrating her husband William Lee-Kemp’s birthday in style, as the loved-up pair take on the slopes in Courchevel in the French Alps.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a photo of the pair outside the Grandes Alpes Hotel, penning the sweet caption: “Happy 40th birthday to my husband. Back in our special place, our first ever trip together & where you proposed to me.

"You are the best husband & father I could have ever asked for & I love you very much. Here’s to many more birthdays together.”

Jess looked the part in a stylish black ski suit and white snow boots, with her husband opting for all black, wearing a black top, joggers, a warm coat and boots.

The couple posed in front of festive scenery and twinkling lights at one of Courchevel’s luxurious hotels. The Grande Alpes Hotel is one of the most exclusive locations and arguably the best ski area in the world, according to its website.

The hotel features nine spacious luxury apartments, designed by master interior designer Jean-Marc Mouchet. The mountain retreat was first opened in 1948 and was the first ever hotel in Courchevel 1850. It is the perfect location for Jess and William to catch some slopes with its unique location at the heart of the resort where three main ski slopes arrive.

While they are off celebrating, Jess is sure to be missing their baby at home. In May, they welcomed their first child, Presley, announcing the news with an Instagram post of their son holding his fathers’ fingers, captioning it: "We will hold your hand forever. 17-05-22."

The family have been seen getting into the Christmas spirit with arecent trip to Lapland UK , where Jess shared cute snaps of Presley sat on Santa’s lap. While on Instagram things appear to be picture perfect, Jess has opened up to OK! About feeling“crippled by mum guilt”a lot of the time.

Speaking to OK!, she said: "I do get a lot of mum guilt, a hell of a lot. I was out with Presley past 6pm at a Marks & Spencer event – it was an amazing evening with all their Christmas stuff, which he was obsessed with because of the sensory."

She adds: "But I’m like, ‘This isn’t right – he needs to be at home with his routine.’ It’s a constant, isn’t it? You never feel like you’re doing the right thing.”

Jess revealed that she thinks baby blues have been "sugar-coated", confessing it was a "whole new level of lowness" for her.

She told us: "It’s incredibly important to talk about it because when you see someone else is suffering, it makes you feel you’re not abnormal.

"And it’s good for us to do it in the public eye because we’ve got such a big outreach – we can express it to so many people and they can feel like they’re not alone."
