An 81-year-old pensioner has shared a heartbreaking post for her toyboy husband, who is half her age.

Iris Jones, from Somerset, met her soul mate Mohamed Ahmed Irbriham, 36, on Facebook before tying the knot.

The age gap couple first hit headlines when the gran dished the dirt on their wild sex life on ITV's This Morning.

Now as the pair have been kept apart in recent weeks due to Mohamed's visa issues, Iris posted a heartbreaking message.

Writing on Facebook, the OAP shared an animated image of a love heart made from rose petals with the caption: "For my husband."

In the comments below her social media post, Iris gushed: "You are in my heart forever."

According to The Sun, Mohamed saw his wife's adorable post and replied: "I am with you forever."

Unfortunately for Iris and Mohamed, the couple have been separated due to visa issues as the toyboy is currently in his homeland.

Plans for the Egyptian to come to the UK are currently paused as he attempts to get a spousal visa.

Previously, Mohamed declared his love for his "dear" in a poignant message on Facebook.

He gushed: "Until the end of my life, my love for you, my dear, my sun and my moon, my queen Iris Mohamdy."

It comes after Iris revealed she won't be jetting off to Egypt for a fourth time because of costs and risks to her health.

Iris told how she was feeling "skint and alone" after returning to the UK without her partner.

Speaking to the Metro, she said: "I get days when I'm all right and other days when I'm just crying all the time."

She added: I'm separated from someone I love, it's so hard. I haven't got time on my side, his lawyers know that.

"I've had to go over there three times and come back without him… I can't go back to Egypt, that country does not suit me.

"It's too hot, it's too dusty, I don't like the food and the fumes from the traffic is absolutely horrendous.

"Half the cars on the road would be crushed if they were in Britain."
