Emmerdale’s Vinny Dingle star Bradley Johnson’s life off screen from stunning girlfriend to hidden talent

Emmerdale’s writers really have pulled out all of the stops to ensure that the 50th anniversary special episodes are ones to remember.

Earlier this week, things took yet another turn asLiv and Vinny Dingle were left lifelessafter being crushed by a caravan.

As the soap progressed, Vinny was able to free himself from the wreckage but Liv was left trapped and unable to get out as fans were left in tears over her death.

Luckily, the stars who play the pair have a much different and less dramatic life off screen and in particular, Bradley Johnson, who plays Vinny has a secret hidden talent.

Bradley, 24, joined the soap in 2019 and had previously appeared on our screens on various occasions, with the actor having featured in titles including Shameless, Five Days, and Harriet's Army.

He found fame in 2017 when he took part in BBC show Let It Shine, and bagged himself a place in the final.

Bradley's audition, where he sang Bring Him Home from the musical Les Misérables, went viral online and propelled him into the limelight.

He previously showed off his incredible singing voice on Emmerdale’s YouTube channel, The Woolpack Session, and soap fans were seriously impressed.

Bradley also regularly shares acoustic covers on his Instagram page, where he belts out tracks by the likes of Coldplay, Tina Turner, Billy Joel and many more.

Bradley performed a version of Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance with Somebody and King's of Leon's Use Somebody which blew fans away.

Speaking on his participation in the project, Bradley told theMetro: "I am excited! It’s the first time the public will see me like this just in my living room, singing a song. Hopefully it will lift some spirits."

When he's not singing, the star can be found enjoying nights out with pals, and looking after his adorable malti-shi pup named Barney, who he and his mum live with in Yorkshire.

He’s also loved up with girlfriend Sammie and often shares sweet pictures of the two on social media.

The couple celebrated their one year anniversary earlier this year and alongside a series of pictures of them he wrote: “1 year with my soulmate!! How time flies. We have done so much together! Here is to many more!! Love you! @sammiejojo92”.

Bradley also shared a sweet message to his on-screen wife Isobel Steele following her departure from Emmerdale.

“What can I say…. 3 years working with this legend! And what a few years it’s been! From getting off the booze to nearly dying in a bar, running off to get married and then getting crushed by a caravan, Vinny and Liv have certainly been through the works!

“But to have this storyline and being part of @emmerdale 50th has been an absolute dream! Go and smash it @isobelsteelee and please don’t forget me when you’re in Hollywood! Really going to miss ya xxxu”.

Isobel sweetly responded by telling him how much she’d miss him: “Love you so much Brad. Best friend/husband [ring emoji] Gonna miss you so much xxxxxxxxxx”.
