With hair salons shut, Denise Van Outen has put the problem of lockdown roots into her boyfriend’s hands – and the results have been seriously envy-inducing.
The Dancing On Ice star enlisted the help of Eddie Boxshall to ensure she was back to her blonde bombshell best ahead of last night’s live show.
In a hilarious Instagram video, Denise can be seen with her roots smothered in dye as Eddie gets to work with a tinting brush. “Eduardo's lockdown salon Casa Chelmsford,” she calls it, while giving fans some extra information on what was really going on behind the scenes.

“The noise you can hear in the background is our dog Tilly drinking from her bowl. Not someone getting a seeing to,” she adds.
Eddie’s day job is as a commodities trader, but if he fancies a Plan B career he’s clearly got both the hairdressing skills and the patter nailed.
“So have you been anywhere nice this year?” he asks his girlfriend, who wryly replies: “Only the kitchen.”

“Oh really?” Eddie continues. “You planning on maybe later in the year going to the front room or something?”
Speaking for the entire fed-up nation, Denise shoots back: “I was thinking maybe the garden. Nice little holiday…”
Denise has had a tricky start to her Dancing On Ice stint after falling over and dislocating her shoulder not once, but twice, in training.

She bravely managed to make her skating debut in Week One, and was certainly looking ice-cool at the DOI rink again last night thanks to her boyfriend – who she cheekily credited on Instagram as her glam squad colourist.
Her celebrity friends were clearly impressed and envious of Eddie’s skills, flocking to the comments section.
“Bless him. There's no way I’d let my hubby do that,” said Saira Khan.
“He’s getting so confident doing it now,” commented Kelly Brook, while Ashley Roberts, Dr Ranj and Una Healey posted giggles and love heart emojis.
Other followers wondered if Denise might be willing to loan Eddie out. “Can I borrow him please…?” asked one impressed fan.
However before we all get too jealous of Eddie’s skills, Denise revealed he’d had a little expert help, via FaceTime, from hair pro Alfie O’Neill.
