Last year was difficult for every sign in the zodiac, and we’re all relieved that a new year is here. However, the year ahead will differ from star sign to star sign in terms of career, love, emotions, moods, finances, and more. chatted to astrologer, cosmic coach, crystal healer and founder of the Moon Child Sorority, Bex (@cosmic_cures on Instagram), to hear her Cancer 2021 predictions.

Early January may be difficult for you Cancer, and you might feel very emotional.

Bex said: “You might begin the year feeling a bit discombobulated, Cancer – after all, we’re starting 2021 directly after a Full Moon in your sign.

“These swirling energies last a while and since Cancer is ruled by the Moon, you’re always highly attuned to this lunar event.

“The sign of the crab is known for being one of the most emotional and nurturing of the zodiac, and also one of the most sensitive.

“Allow yourself space and time for self-care and don’t fall prey to your tendency to use those pincers to snap at others when you feel overwhelmed!”

In mid-January, Uranus ends its retrograde period in Taurus.

Bex said: “There are going to be some seriously unpredictable shifts as this rebellious planet stations direct.

“It’s happening in your 11th House, which governs humanitarian pursuits, technology, friendships and all things futuristic.

“Now is the ideal time to show up in the world and perhaps even be a little stubborn in your desire to make the revolutionary changes that you feel are necessary.”

You’re also being encouraged to come out of your shell a bit, Cancer.

Bex said: “If you’ve been a bit solitary since August, now’s the time to get cracking and reconnect with friends, even if it’s virtually.

“Want to broaden your circle? Head online and discover the capacity for networking that can be found via technology.

“The world’s changing Cancer, make sure you’re evolving with it!”

The Sagittarius Total Lunar Eclipse in May is going to be a fresh start in terms of your wellbeing.

Bex explained: “The Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse brings incredibly potent energy relating to the way you view schedules, health and exercise.

“Take this opportunity to release old habits and limiting beliefs, then begin a brand-new wellness routine.

“It’s also a superb occasion to assess your daily routine, be honest with yourself, and change what isn’t working.”

Venus enters Cancer in June and Summer is your season, Cancer.

Bex said you’ll be feeling super affectionate and romantic in June.

However, she warned: “This also causes heightened sensitivity.

“Your vulnerabilities come to the surface during this transit so don’t allow yourself to over-analyse situations.

“Your birthday arrives shortly afterwards so take some time to surround yourself with friends.”

Mercury enters Cancer on July 11 and stays there until July 27.

During this time, “you’ll find it hard to be objective and decisions will most likely be emotionally-led – which is fine, as long as you’re aware that you might not be entirely impartial,” Bex said.

December’s Total Solar Eclipse will be a lovely way to round up the year.

Bex said: “By the time the winter Total Solar Eclipse rolls around in December, you’ll be ready to look back at the routines you started in May and see the fruits of your labours blossoming.

“If any of your intentions have yet to materialise, this is the time to take stock and see how to correct the course.

“Then there’s the promise of a brand new year to make them happen!”
