Brooke Shields is feeling blue.

The actress, 55, put on her best face on Instagram Thursday, posting a selfie with her skin slathered in a bright blue mask.

“Self care or auditioning for the @bluemangroup?,” Shields captioned the image.

Fellow model Helena Christensen commented, “In this case I’m hoping for self care.” Asked Ali Wentworth, “Blue Lagoon reboot?”

Other followers compared the look to the the Smurfs and the Na’vi characters from “Avatar.”

The vibrant goop is actually the Hyaluronic Marine Hydrating Modeling Mask System ($48) by celebrity-loved dermatologist Dr. Dennis Gross.

It “creates an occlusive barrier loaded with humectants on your skin to seal in hydration, improving the appearance of fine lines and pores and leaving your skin firmer, supple and more dewy,” according to the product description.

The star could use some self-care as she continues to recover from a broken femur earlier this year; the injury left her in need of three blood transfusions and multiple rods as she learned to walk again.
