Aaron Waters Love Island: Australia star’s life off screen as he enters villa as bombshell

Love Island 2023 is well underway, with two new bombshells recently arriving at the South African villa to shake things up.

Aaron Waters and Jessie Wynter made their way into the iconic villa while the Islanders were enjoying a pool party, and many viewers were quick to recognise them both.

It wasn't long until the duo revealed they'd actually already starred on the hit show before, as they both took part in the Australian version in the past.

Aaron, 25, starred on the third series of Love Island Australia, which aired in 2021, and came in second place alongside ex-girlfriend Jess Velkovski.

Here, we take a look at his life away from the cameras…

Aaron is a 25-year-old model and content creator from Melbourne, Australia. He appeared on series three of Love Island Australia.

Aaron boasts over 80,000 followers on Instagram, where he documents his life and frequently shares snaps of his modelling work.

Speaking about why he decided to take part in Love Island UK, the model said: "It was divine timing, I think it is the perfect opportunity for me to finally meet someone."

Aaron was crowned runner-up on Love Island Australia alongside Jess, 24, but the pair called time on their romance not long after leaving the villa.

He has now opened up about his first time in the villa, admitting he didn't open himself up to "other opportunities".

"In terms of dating, I’ve learnt that it’s not always what meets the eye. Attraction is one thing, but making a connection and being able to build something with somebody is another. When I was in the Love Island Australia Villa, I didn’t open myself up to other opportunities that I could’ve possibly had.

"This time round I want to be testing the waters by being open-minded and giving everyone a chance. In terms of my experience in the previous Villa, I went in there wanting to be myself and I can truly say I felt comfortable in myself in every way so I’d never change it," the 25 year old explained.

He also admitted he feels he offers something "different to most", adding: "Besides being an Aussie, I’m different to most because I have a sense of awareness of who I am and what I’m looking for.

"When I’m talking to girls it’s not on a surface level, I can dive deeper to try and build a connection."

Love Island airs on ITV2 at 9pm.
