Billie Eilish enjoyed a sunbathing session with her pals over the weekend and in one bikini-clad snap her super secretive chest tattoo was visible.
The 21-year-old Grammy-winner got the inking back in 2020 and swore no one would ever see it, but the design could just about be made out in the new photo of Billie, posted by her friend Annabel Zimmer, the daughter of famed film composer Hans Zimmer.
Bad Guy crooner Billie appeared to be having a blast in Annabel’s Instagram photo and smiled while tilting her head towards the sunshine.
Billie wore her jet-black hair slicked back and was also rocking a chic pair of sunglasses.
Speaking to Vanity Fair three years ago, the star admitted she’d got some permanent ink on an unknown part of her body and added that she had no plans of showing it.
Billie teased: ‘I did get a tattoo. But you won’t ever see it.’
She added: ‘I have one here that says “Eilish”. Yes, I love myself.’
A year later, Rolling Stone reported the singer had her last name inked ‘in an ornate, gothic font’ the day after the 2020 Grammys, where she won five awards.
The chest tattoo visible in Annabel’s snap appears to be Billie’s surname written in that exact font.
Billie is a tattoo studio regular and last month showed off the huge dragon tattoo she has on her stomach.
The superstar singer has several other inkings including fairies on her hand and wrist.
Billie’s sunny snap comes after she expertly hit back at trolls who comment on her appearance and clothing choices, reminding them that ‘women can be multifaceted’.
While Billie’s style has usually involved wearing baggy clothes, in recent months she’s been stepping out in more revealing and ‘feminine’ looks, but it seems her fashion choices have seen her targeted.
In May, she called out the behaviour of people who criticise her online, and she didn’t hold back.
‘Letter to some comments I be seeing sometimes,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘I spent the first five years of my career getting absolutely obliterated by you fools for being boyish and dressing how I did and constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman,’ added Billie.
‘And now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or fitting, I “changed” and am a “sell-out” and “what happened to her…it’s not the same Billie, she’s just like the rest” blah blah blah.
‘You guys are true idiots LOL. I can be both you f***ing bozos. Let women exist.’
