Rui Hachimura's Latest Air Jordan 36 Is Shrouded in Sakura Patterns

Rollout plans for the Air Jordan 37 have already been put into place by Jordan Brand, but it’s still squeezing every ounce of life of the Air Jordan 36 that it can be slowly unveiling its final offerings. The latest to be uncovered is Rui Hachimura‘s new Air Jordan 36 “Sakura” colorway which is a direct homage to his Japanese roots.

Wrapping around the jacquard side panels and toe boxes of this luxe offering are all-over patterns that consist of green, red and pink floral graphics alongside multiple white cranes, the latter of which is symbolic of happiness and good luck. Accents of red and green also land on the heel tabs and upper trimming as well as the midsole molds. Furthermore, you’ll find regal branding on the throat that splits between Jordan insignias on the right show and Hachimura’s logo on the left as well as the Japanese characters and Nike Air emblems that are parked on the rear. Down south, the outsoles are fashioned with a minty tint.

Nike will likely announce a release date for the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 36 “Sakura” in the coming months.

In case you missed it, official images of the Air Jordan 3 Winterized “Archaeo Brown” have surfaced.
